Who is California Medical Billing & Revenue Management?

California Medical Billing & Revenue Management (CMB) was founded in 2003 with a simple but powerful mission: help physicians get paid what they’ve earned.

Jennifer Tullius, our founder and CEO, started CMB after seeing firsthand how many medical billing companies were failing physicians. Claims were submitted incorrectly, follow-ups were inconsistent, and millions of dollars that rightfully belonged to hardworking doctors were being lost in the insurance system. Too many providers were being told that denied claims were simply “part of the process.” She knew that wasn’t true.

CMB was built to change that. We’re a billing and revenue cycle management partner that fights for your revenue and we are determined to educate as many physicians as possible on how to improve their revenue cycle management and billing practices.

We believe that good billing isn’t just data entry, it’s revenue advocacy. Our responsibility to our client-physicians is to ensure that care is properly documented, correctly submitted, aggressively followed up on, and ultimately paid.
